Stevie Wonder will play the Isle of Wight festival for the first time and joins New Order who headline the Saturday night slot.

The 61-year-old US soul and pop singer-songwriter has had a career spanning decades with hits like 'Supersition', 'Do I Do', and 'I just Called To Say I Love You'. He last played the UK in 2010 with critically-acclaimed headline shows at Glastonbury Festival and Hard Rock Calling.

Acts previously announced for the Bestival 2012 line-up include Orbital, Friendly Fires, Death in Vegas, SBTRKT, Daughter, Zulu Winter and Drums Of Death.

The likes of Two Door Cinema Club, The XX and Justice have been confirmed already, along with this year’s fancy dress theme, Wildlife.
