New names for Bestival 2012

Sage Francis and Grimes will make their only UK Festival appearances of the summer at the event, which takes place at Robin Hill Country Park near Newport on the Isle of Wight from 6-9 September. 

UK hip hop luminary Roots Manuva is confirmed, while Rob Da Bank’s festival has also added Alabama Shakes, Chairlift, Gesaffelstein, Iceage, Ren Harvieu, Factory Floor, Porcelain Raft, Toy, Kindness, Dismantle, Dirty Beaches, General Levy, Top Cat feat. Sir Coxsone Outernational, Josh Kumra, Errors and Trailer Trash Tracys to the line-up.

Forest Swords, Stay+, Skinny Lister, Misty's Big Adventure, Ryan Keen, Nina Nesbitt, BIGkids, The Lovely Eggs, Alt-J, St Spirit, Charming, Shepherds and Seán McGowan are set to play too.

DJs Moodymann, Kavinsky and Girl Unit are also new, while Mixmaster Morris, Chris Coco, Phil Mison and Pete Gooding will play in the Ambient Forest. 

As previously reported, New Order will headline the festival's Saturday night, with more acts still to be announced.
