Editors, more for Rock Werchter 2012

The XX, Within Temptation set to play too...

The band, currently recording a follow-up to their 2009 album ‘In This Light And On This Evening’, will be preceded on the Main Stage by The XX, while it’s also been announced that hip-hoppers t‘Hof Van Commerce will open the Main Stage that day.

Within Temptation will play the Main Stage on Thursday (28 June) and Belgian rockers The Hickey Underworld will open proceedings there on the Sunday (1 July), with Die Antwoord new for the Pyramid Marquee then too.

Rounding off the new artist announcements, The Temper Trap are confirmed to play the Third Stage on Friday (29 June).

As previously announced, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and The Cure will play the event, as will the likes of Mastodon, Rise Against, Dropkick Murphys, The Kooks, The Maccabees, Miles Kane and James Morrison.

Calvin Harris, however, will now not be appearing.
