T Break 2012 launched
Submit your demo and you could play T In The Park this year...

Sixteen acts will be chosen to play on the festival’s T Break Stage, with a judging panel of 14
of Scotland’s most influential music industry experts – including “promoters, bookers, A&R representatives
and members of the media” – listening to each demo before selecting the winners.

from DF Concerts, who sits on the judging panel, said: “Over the last few years T Break has been a launch pad for
some of the best new Scottish artists of the moment. For example, 2010 gave us French Wives, The Ray Summers, Three Blind
Wolves, The Draymin
and Kobi Onyame with 2011 delivering just as many exciting new acts in the shape of The LaFontaines, United Fruit, Fatherson,
Discopolis and PAWS. T Break is a great opportunity for any unsigned artist, and we can’t wait to hear from this year’s
entrants.”
Snow Patrol, who headline
this year, and Biffy Clyro are among those who made their
T In The Park debuts on the T Break stage, in 1997 and 2000 respectively.
Entrants
must be over 18, live in Scotland, and must be currently unsigned – full details on how to submit demos is available
on the T Break Facebook page.
Demos must
be submitted before the deadline of Monday 2 April, with the stage line-up being announced in May.
Kasabian and The
Stone Roses are the other two headliners for this year's event, which takes place in Balado, Kinross from 6-8
July.
