Bury's finest rock export Elbow will play Transmission 002 on Sat 23rd June and will be joined by a number of, still to be announced, special guests.

Modfather and northern soul icon Paul Weller will be celebrating the release of his eleventh studio solo album 'Sonik Kicks', due for release this month, by playing Transmission 003 on Sun 24th June 2012.

The two shows take place in the grounds of The University of Manchester’s Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire.

Before the spectacular evening concerts and throughout each day, attendees will be able to participate in a fantastic range of hands-on experiments and workshops on site at Jodrell Bank. With full access to the magnificent Discovery centre included in every ticket, this is a great chance to find out more about the mind-blowing research happening at Jodrell Bank.

Live From Jodrell Bank day tickets are available from Thursday 1st March at 9am, priced at £35 a day.
