Dizzee Rascal, more for Kendal Calling 2012
James and Maximo Park also named as headliners

Maximo Park will headline the Friday night, Saturday
night will be topped by 'Bonkers' rapper Dizzee Rascal,
and Sunday night will be closed by James.
Feeder, Little
Roy, Shed Seven, MS Dynamite, Shy FX, Benga,
Andy C, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, and 16bit
have all been announced in the first release of acts for the Kendal Calling line-up.
Kendal Calling
are also unveiling a new Twin Peaks style 50's diner headed up by Tim Burgess from The Charlatans
aptly titled the 'Tim Peaks Diner'. The venue was borne from twitter and on BBC6music, as Tim pours
over the jukebox and coffee he will curate a weekend of DJs, bands, book readings and comedians in a unique setting. Confirmed
on the bill is Nick Heyward; best known as frontman of Haircut 100 whose hits are big hitters on Tim Burgess Jukebox.
Kendal Calling 2012 takes place from Friday
27 - Sunday 29 July at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria, with eleven diverse stages
and areas.

Kendal Calling adult weekend tickets are priced at £105,
a child (11-14 years) weekend ticket at £50, and children under 11 can attend for free, but needed
a ticket. Anyone under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Thursday early bird tickets are priced at £10
(only valid with a full weekend ticket).
