The singer, up for Best British Breakthrough Act at the BRIT Awards tonight, is one
of sixteen new acts announced for the festival today, which takes place at the Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset
on 31 August – 2 September.
Villagers,
Perfume Genius, Islet, Trailer Trash Tracys, Cold Specks,
Dark Dark Dark, William Elliott Whitemore and Sweet Lights are also on
board for this year’s festival.
Toy, who VF recently caught live in London, will be there
too, along with The Lost Brothers, Luke Roberts, Abigail Washburn with
Kai Welch, Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Seth Faergolzia and Pinkunoizu.
Grizzly Bear, Tindersticks, Delicate Steve, Doug Paisley, Driver
Drive Faster, First Aid Kit, Frank Fairfield, Jeffrey Lewis and the Junkyard,
Justin Townes Earle, Moulettes and Outfit are amongst the acts already
confirmed for the End
Of The Road 2012 line-up.
Bella Union will also celebrate its fifteenth anniversary
at the festival, with several acts from the label set to appear, including Beach House, The Low Anthem,
Lanterns On The Lake, Midlake, Roy Harper, John Grant and Jonathan
Wilson.
