Founder Andy Rea said: "This is a cracking line-up of bands that have already played storming sets at 2000trees, so they are back by popular demand and we are delighted.

"They will be joined by a very special headliner - we're just finalising the contract as we speak and we'll announce details as soon as we can."

Those to appear on the 2000trees festival line-up in the past include Frank Turner, Dan le Sac v Scroobius Pip, Bombay Bicycle Club, Los Campesinos!, Pulled Apart By Horses, Tribes, Frightened Rabbit and The Subways.

Around 5,000 music lovers are expected for a weekend of the country’s finest indie, acoustic, folk, hardcore and post-rock plus a sprinkle of other genres and smattering of musical surprises.
