Twitter account claims Sonisphere line up leak
Twitter user claims to reveal details of official press release

Virtual Festivals - 25 January 2012
UPDATE: A spokesperson for the festival have confirmed that the leaks were untrue, calling them: "Completely false".
ORIGINAL STORY:
A Twitter account has named eleven acts it alleges are set for the Sonisphere
line-up.
The twitter account claimed that Queen with Adam Lambert and Green Day will headline the three day festival in Knebworth
this July.
Robert Plant and the Band of Joy, Opeth,
Slash, The Offspring, Billy Idol, My Passion, As
I Lay Dying, Killing Joke and Seether also appear in the allegedly leaked Sonisphere
line up.
The Twitter account
posted this tweet before revealing the acts: "FAQ CREDITED SOURCE... the information comes from a pulled press release,
via email direct from Kililive."
Sonisphere 2012 takes place in the grounds of Knebworth
House, Hertfordshire, from 6-8 July.
Currently no acts have been officially confirmed
for the Sonisphere line-up.
The organisers revealed last year that Green Day were
in their long list of targets. None
of the acts appeared in the list of 13 bands that a Scuzz show aired, claiming one to be a Sonisphere
headliner.
As I Lay Dying are also in the middle of a US tour over the Sonisphere weekend.

Queen have not announced any plans to tour this year but drummer Roger Taylor said that
he would be interested in performing with American Idol star Adam Lambert on a tour, telling Billboard in the US: "We would like to work with him again. There's nothing signed
just yet but we're talking about live dates. It could be very exciting."
Queen's Roger
Taylor and Brian May played a medley of tracks with Lambert on the US show, they last resurrected
the Queen act with Paul Rogers, between 2004-2009.
Queen famously
played the grounds of Knebworth House back in 1986 on their 'Kind of Magic Tour',
their last ever show with their late vocalist Freddie Mercury.
There has been no confirmation
or denial from the Sonisphere organisers.
