Franz Ferdinand join Dour Festival 2012 line-up

They will play alongside The Flaming Lips and Ministry

The event to return to La Machine A Feu in Belgium from 12-15 July.

Organisers don’t traditionally start announcing the Dour Festival line-up until February, but they announced that The Flaming Lips and Ministry will perform before Christmas.

Dour Festival 2012 tickets are on sale now at 2011 prices. Festihuts and ticket-plus-bus packages are also on sale.

Tickets are on sale for €117 for a full weekend camping ticket or €100 without camping.

Drink and food tickets, which are needed to buy both onsite, are also available to buy ahead of the festival.

The Dour 2012 line-up will confirm around 200 more acts featuring rock, electro, dub step, techno, reggae, hip hop, metal and hardcore stars.

Pulp, Pendulum and a reformed Suede were among the acts who performed in 2011 along with the likes of Cypress Hill, Ice Cube, House Of Pain and Public Enemy.
