Richard Fearless and Co. will top the bill at Koko in London on Friday 4 May to launch the event, with a “four- strong, eclectic support line-up” promised. This will be followed by a special edition of Club NME before the full-blown festival launches the day after, running from 5-6 May.

The festival’s daytime schedule will include comedy and spoken word from the likes of The 99 Club, Art History In The Pub, Crack Comedy, Fat Tuesday, Gag Reflex, Get Comedy, Homework, Knock2Bag, Really Lovely Comedy and Lolitics.

They’ll be performing arts and exhibitions, with High Hoops Hoolafest, Hip Hop Shakespeare, the International Alternative Press Festival, The Lexington Record Fair, The London Swing Dance Society, Poster Roast, Ross Lee’s Horace Fingernips and State Of Craft all on hand..

Hip Hop Karaoke, Karauke, the Moshi Moshi and Rough Trade Pop Quizzes, Musical Bingo and Who Killed Bambi? will all return as well.

DJ Abrantee’s Afro Beats, Andy Ross Presents, Nihal’s Bombay Bronx, Caught In The Crossfire, Fence Records, The Flowerpot Collective, For Folk’s Sake, The Nest Collective, SWN Festival, This Is Fake DIY and John Kennedy’s X-Posure will all host daytime music events.

Meanwhile evening live music and club nights at the festival will be curated by 1234, Artrocker, Backstreet, Big Cheese, Club Fandango, Drowned In Sound, FACT, Fear & Records, The Flowerpot Collective, Lantern Society, Last.FM, Lift Off and The Local.

Mistajam, Moda, Moshi Moshi, Nialler9 VS. On The Record, Old Blue Last Presents, Rockfeedback, Rough Trade Shops, RWD Magazine, Sexbeat, Summer Sundae Weekender, Sway, Urban Nerds and The Weird & Wonderful will also be putting on evening events in various venues around Camden, with the full schedule not announced until the start of the festival.

Camden Crawl 2012 tickets are on sale now, with Opening Night Party tickets priced at £21.60, and Weekend Tickets priced at £83.70 (including Opening Night access) and £72.90 (5-6 May only).

VIP Tickets, including Opening night admission, are priced at £162.
