Festival-goers will just have enough time to pack away their tents before a limited amount of tickets are released. Tickets
will go on sale for one month only on Tuesday 13 July at 12pm until 13 August, with an early bird offer to buy at this year's
prices. This year, tickets were released earlier than usual, in December 2003, months before the unveiling of the festival line-up
in the spring. The festival sold out ten weeks in advance - a record in the event's 11-year history - with over 40 per cent of tickets
being snapped up by fans. Event promoter Geoff Ellis said: "As we head into our twelfth year, music fans know that T in the Park guarantees a
fantastic festival experience, mixing one of the best line-ups of any festival in Europe with a great party atmosphere. Although
there are 365 days to go, we know that demand for next year's event is already growing, particularly since so many thousands
of people were left disappointed this year, despite our advice to buy early. T in the Park 2005 takes place on 9 and 10 July. Day tickets are priced at £42.50, weekend Tickets £75,
and weekend tickets with camping are £88.
Music fans
at this weekend's sell-out Scottish festival have been given a final treat with the news today that tickets
for the 2005 festival are to go on sale in just a few days time.
Festival goers were treated to some fantastic sets from the likes of The Strokes,
The Darkness and Muse.
"It's testament to T in the Park's great
reputation that we can now put the event on sale without unveiling the line up - it's become one of the highlights of the
summer and music fans don't want to miss out."
Tickets will be available by telephone and internet only and will
not be available to buy from outlets in person.
They can be booked by phoning 0870 169 0100 or clicking here from Tuesday, 13 July, at 12pm.
