Beach Break Live 2012 tickets on sale 1 February

Organisers announce new additions to festival too

The student festival returns on 14-18 June at Pembrey Country Park, South Wales, and 500 early bird Beach Break Live tickets  will be available from 12pm on Wednesday 1 February. General sale Beach Break tickets will be available straight after they sell out.

Early Bird Student/Graduate Beach Break Live 2012 tickets will be priced at £94, with Early Bird Non-Student tickets costing £114.

New attractions for this year’s festival will include a roller disco, plus an “epic beach wreck, hot tubs with a view and the fire breathing Ghetto Palace”, with old favourites like the Celtic Games, the Chai Wallah’s tent, beach sports and the UK Student Extreme Games back for another year.

While no acts are yet confirmed for this year’s Beach Break Live line-up but organisers promise the “most exciting artists in urban pop music.”

Last year’s headliners were Tinie Tempah, White Lies and Magnetic Man, with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Example, Katy B, Professor Green, Maverick Sabre, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Frankie & The Heartstrings, Nero and Sub Focus also appearing.

Beach Break Live 2011 earned an 8.5/10 review from us, with praise for the ”enthusiasm of the 20,000-strong student crowd…with a bill that as ‘now’ as it’s possible to get.”
