Snowbombing Festival 2011 highlights
Austrian slopes and music from the likes of Fatboy Slim, Chase & Status, The Prodigy and Mark Ronson, this was a romp in the snow like no other. Virtual Festivals’ Kristy Harper got caught up in the party atmosphere and chilled out with Fatboy Slim and more off piste.
The Wombats interview at V Festival 2011
The Scouser indie-pop trio were on fine form in the Essex sun over V Festival, as they recounted tales of Rihanna, self abuse and listed every festival they’d played in 2011. Gripping stuff.
Biffy Clyro at Ibiza Rocks 2012
Ibiza Rocks celebrated six years on the island with some huge headline shows and wild after-parties. Biffy Clyro, the Scotch crown in the rock mantelpiece, had only to worry about their fair hair and the beating Ibiza sun before taking to the stage to deliver one of the hardest hitting sets of the summer season.
Reading Festival Highlights 2011
Billed under a torrential cloud of bad weather, nothing could dampen the spirits over one of the biggest festival weekends of the year. The Reading leg of the dual-site event proved to be a showcase of revelations and wild card entries on stage, with guest appearances coming from all directions. Back stage the artists weren’t scared about shocking us either.

Weston-super-Mare was overrun with another eye-catching event this July as the glam of the pop scene collided with the adolescent charm of the T4 crew and fan. Pips Taylor got down to chat with The Wombats, Rizzle Kicks and others.
