Oxegen to take a year off in 2012
The music festival will return in 2013

The promotors have confirmed that the three-day music festival, which traditionally runs alongside Scotland's T
In The Park, won't go ahead.
A statement on the Oxegen website reads: "OXEGEN, like Glastonbury, is
taking a year off in 2012 and will be back July 2013. Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas & peaceful New Year. Keep
Rockin' in 2012 and we will see you in 2013."
Last summer, the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Foo Fighters,
Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and Beyonce were all
part of the Oxegen line-up.
Oxegen usually takes place at Punchestown Racecourse,
Nass in County Kildare, Ireland.
