Rock am Ring, Rock im Park 2012 line-up additions

Both events will be held on the same weekend and share the same line up, taking place from 1-3 June 2012.

Rock am Ring 2012 takes place at the Nürburgring racetrack, Nürburg in east Germany, while Rock im Park 2012 takes place around the Frankenstadion in Nurnberg in the west of Germany.

Other acts added to the line-up include As I Lay Dying, Billy Talent, Deichkind, Dick Brave & the Backbeats, Donots, Enter Shikari, Guano Apes and Kasabian.

Also on the bill are Killswitch Engage, Lamb Of God, Lexy & K-Paul, Machine Head, Marilyn Manson and M.I.A. along with Motorhead, Opeth, Skrillex, Tenacious D and The Koletzkis.

The Offspring, The Subways, Trivium and U.V.M. have been confirmed too.

Metallica, who will play their ‘Black Album’, and Die Toten Hosen were both confirmed previously.

Three-day Rock im Park tickets are available now for 155 euros plus shipping costs, and three day Rock am Ring tickets are available for 160 euros plus shipping costs.
