The Stones Roses to headline Sziget Festival

The 20th Sziget Festival will welcome the band back after they played in 1996, one of their last performances together
before they split up.
Sziget Festival takes place at the Óbudai Island, Budapest
from 6-13 August 2012.
With 60 venues, 7 festival days and almost 400,000 daily visitors, the
festival in Hungarian capital Budapest is the biggest festival in Central-Europe. Last summer about 1,500 British visitors
attended the festival. In 2012 for the first time organised bus travel will bring Sziget visitors from the UK to Budapest,
giving them the chance to witness a headline performance by The Stone Roses and about 1,000 other acts.
The Stone Roses announced their first shows back in October, with three dates at Heaton Park which
sold out in less than two hours.

Festival 2012, the band are also expected to announce more European dates

tickets are available until 30 April priced at 195 EUR which includes a week with
camping, a non-camping five day pass is available for 165 EUR.
