Eurosonic Noorderslag 2012,
the European Music Conference and Showcase Festival, has partnered with RFID festival solution specialists Intellitix to implement
a revolutionary RFID access control system at both the festival and conference in January 2012.
The wristband will
act as an electronic ticket which enables fans to scan in and out of all venues and De Oosterpoort conference area. The Intellitix
system will also be used to hold tickets and free drinks for the European Festival Awards (on Wednesday
11 Jan).
Eurosonic Noorderslag organiser, Ruud Berends, said: “As
a festival organiser, the Intellitix system will allow us to reduce queuing times, gauge exactly how popular each band is,
and to provide a range of interactive services for our delegates, and because it’s a system designed for and proven
at festivals, we’re sure it’ll be of interest to many of the visitors.”
Anna Calvi, Cashier No.9,
Daughter, James Vincent McMorrow, Marcus Foster
and our 2012 ones to watch Spector are lined up to play Eurosonic
Noorderslag 2012.
Eurosonic Noorderslag has now sold out.
