Isle Of Wight Festival launches online game

Manage the festival, pick the line-up and more

Music Festivals, The Game lets you choose your own fantasy festival line-up, and build and manage the event, including the stage design, with the opportunity to discover new music through a built-in online store, which features over 16 million tracks.

By liking the Isle Of Wight Festival Facebook page, players will also be able to access a “unique 1970’s stage area.”

As well as scheduling their own music choices, players can tune into their friends’ festivals and rate their music, building up a ‘cool factor’ over time.

The (real-life) Isle of Wight Festival 2012 will take place on 22-24 June at Seaclose Park, Newport.

Tickets are on sale now, with Adult weekend camping tickets priced at £190.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Pearl Jam and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers will headline next year’s festival, with Elbow, Example, The Darkness, Professor Green, Noah & The Whale, The Vaccines, Madness, Biffy Clyro and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds amongst the other acts confirmed to play so far.
