Will Young to play string of forest dates

Having just completed a UK tour in support of latest album ‘Echoes’, the singer will be out on the road again
next summer for a seven-date tour of woodland venues.
Commenting on the shows, Young said: “The forest
gigs have a great reputation for their atmosphere so I’m really looking forward to performing my songs in such unique
settings.”
The tour calls at:
Friday 15 June - Sherwood Pines Forest, near Edwinstone, Notts
Saturday 16 June - Thetford Forest, near Brandon, Suffolk
Friday 22 June - Westonbirt Arboretum, near Tetbury,
Gloucestershire
Saturday 23 June - Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, near Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Friday
29 June - Dalby Forest, near Pickering, North Yorkshire
Saturday 30 June - Cannock Chase Forest, near Rugeley,
Staffordshire
Friday 6 July - Delamere Forest, Delamere, Cheshire
Tickets go on sale this Friday (16
December), priced at £35 (plus booking fee), available from the Forestry Commission’s box office phoneline on

Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving
the local forests for both people and wildlife.
Plan B, The Wombats and The Darkness have also confirmed forest
shows for next year, with more expected to be announced soon.
