New Order confirm 2012 festival appearance
Band will play Future Music Festival, line-up confirmed

The group, famed for tracks like ‘Blue Monday’, will play live following a series of successful live dates
without original bassist Peter Hook.

Festival organisers Brett Robinson said: “New Order are one of the true pioneer's of electronica, at the forefront of the new wave movement, and Swedish House Mafia is the biggest electronic band of this time - these two bands alone represent the past and present of music that sit at the very heart and soul of the Future Music Festival.
“New Order is one of the most influential bands of our time and with out festival direction being everything from electronica to indie rock and beyond they are the perfect co-headliner for us and we can wait to see them gracing our stages.”
Other acts already on the Future Music Festival line-up include Swedish House Mafia, Fatboy Slim, Paul van Dyk, Tinie Tempah, The Wombats and Chase & Status as well as Skrillex, Jessie J, The Rapture and Sven Vath.
