Celebration Concerts announced for London 2012
Hyde Park shows to coincide with Olympic Games - Madonna rumoured

The special events, organised by Live Nation, will take place at the Opening Ceremony on 27 July and the Closing Ceremony
on 12 August.
Madonna is widely
rumoured to be performing at one of the shows, and The Rolling Stones are also another possibility as
they celebrate their 50th anniversary next year.
The concerts will be ticketed with full details to be announced
in February 2012.
The shows will be organised as part of London Live with Hyde Park, Victoria
Park and Trafalgar Square all set to have giant, state of the art screens for crowds to watch live action from the Olympic
and Paralympic Games
Each location will also have a variety of entertainment and attractions for people of all
ages, including live music, outdoor arts and performance, plus opportunities to try out different sports.

Games, we are creating a jam-packed programme of exciting events that will show the city at its very best and ensure as many
people as possible across the capital feel a part of the celebrations.
“With its unbeatable locations
London Live will be a thrilling highlight in a summer of highlights, allowing even more people to watch awe inspiring sporting
heroes in high definition action for free, and other fantastic attractions for Londoners and visitors alike.”
