The reformed Seattle thrashers will make their only UK appearance of 2012, and their first in over 20 years, at Derbyshire's
Catton Hall next summer.
Frontman Warrel Dane said: “Really psyched to play Bloodstock 2012. It’s
the band’s first time back in the UK in over 20 years and we are honoured to be invited to one of the greatest summer
festivals in the world. We can’t wait to thrash it up with our fans! See you in August 2012.”
Michigan
metallers The Black Dahlia Murder are another new name for the line-up, with frontman Trevor Strnad saying: “We are
excited to bring our brand of drunken mayhem to Bloodstock in 2012! Prepare for the most epic circle pit of your mortal
lives!”
Also newly confirmed are Swedish rockers Grand Magus, who will make their only UK appearance of
next year at the festival.
Alice Cooper, Anvil, Watain, Paradise Lost, Dimmu Bogir and Hatebreed are some of
the acts previously announced to be playing next year.
More acts are expected to be announced shortly.
Bloodstock Open Air 2012 will run from 9-12 August
2012.
