The Prodigy to headline Friday night at Download 2012
Band announce only UK festival show of 2012

The Prodigy will headline the Friday
(June 8) night of Download Festival 2012
which takes place at Donington, Derby from 8-10 June 2012.
Metallica have already been announced as Saturday night headliners at the Derbyshire based
festival, with the original Black Sabbath line up newly
reformed closing the festival on the Sunday night.
Announcing the news on their website, The Prodigy said the
show will feature some new material from their forthcoming sixth studio album, expected in late 2012.
The Prodigy previously played Download Festival in
2006 and 2009 both on the second stage, this will be their first headline performance at
Download Festival.

Tickets for Download Festival 2012
go on sale tomorrow (Friday Nov 18) at 9am.
Download 2012 tickets start at £155 (including £10 booking fee) for an arena-only
(non-camping) ticket.
A three-day camping ticket priced at £180 (including £10 booking
fee) and £190 (including £10 booking fee) for a five-day camping ticket.
