Band play five stadium shows next summer

The alt-rockers who formed in London in 1996 released their fifth studio album 'Mylo Xyloto' last month which went to UK number one.

Coldplay play the following five shows through May-June in 2012:

Ricoh Stadium, Coventry - 29 May 2012
Emirates Stadium, London - 1 June
Emirates Stadium, London - 2
Stadium of Light, Sunderland - 7
Etihad Stadium, Manchester - 9

A full support line up is expected to be announced shortly for the tour dates, previously in 2009 Girls Aloud and Jay Z supported the band.
