Snoop Dogg to headline Snowbombing 2012 line-up

Rapper to play in a forest clearing next year - buy tickets!

The rapper, known for tracks like 'Gin and Juice' and 'California Gurls', will top the music festival with support from Example, The Vaccines, DJ Shadow and more.

Speaking about the news, Snowbombing Founder Gareth Cooper said: "The Doggfather of hip hop has remained at the forefront of popular culture for twenty years. As he's pure canine cool, we thought it was high time he joined us in the mountains at Snowbombing.

"After The Prodigy played the amazing forest venue last year, we were nervous about how we could at least match the experience. But in Snoop we have one of the most perfect acts in the world for an event of just 5000 people in one of the most unique locations in the world. We at Snowbombing are proud to continue to punch well above our weight when it comes to the size of our lineup."

Groove Armada Presents Redlight and Jungle Brothers will also appear with Fatboy Slim to host a street party.

There will also be a host of DJs including Zane Lowe, Crookers, Tensnake, Seth Troxler, Lil Silva and many more.

Snowbombing 2012 will take place at Mayrhofen in Austria, from 9-14 April.

Prices start from £289 for accommodation and all the entertainment.
