Electric Picnic 2012 tickets sale announced

Irish event confirms 2012 dates as well

The Irish music and arts festival will return for its ninth year to Stradbally next summer from 31 August to 2 September.

A limited number of Electric Picnic 2012 tickets will be available at the discounted price of EU175.

Previous year's ticket holders will automatically receive an email from Ticketmaster with details on how to purchase.

Those who aren’t on the list can be in with a chance to purchase a Loyalty Bird ticket via the festival's Facebook from Wednesday 16 November.

The Electric Picnic ticket offer is available until midnight on Thursday 24 November or until stocks last.

General sale early bird Electric Picnic tickets will be priced at E190.

Booking fees for each Electric Picnic 2012 ticket are priced at E6.35.

No acts have been confirmed for the Electric Picnic 2012 line-up  as yet, but the first names are expected to be confirmed in the New Year.

Arcade Fire, Pulp, Interpol, Beirut, DJ Shadow and Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark are among the bands to perform in 2011.
