The star has admitted that she’d ‘love to play’ the main stage at the Somerset bash after previously
only performing as high up as the Other Stage.
Speaking to Radio 1 DJ, Zane Lowe, about her new album ‘Ceremonials’
and her festival schedule, Florence said: “I’m really excited about festivals. I’ve still never played
the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.”
She then conceded that it could be two years before she has the
chance to do so.
“Hopefully we’ll get to do it, but it’s still one of those ones since I
was 15, or whatever, that I’d love to play,” she added.
Other acts already among the Glastonbury
2013 rumours include Kasabian who want
to headline and Radiohead who said they “can't
wait to do it again soon,” following their secret set in June.
As previously reported, the music
festival is taking a traditional fallow year in 2012 to allow the ground to recover from previous events.
Organiser
Michael Eavis has also claimed that he thinks Glastonbury may only have "three
or four years" left.
