Organiser puts brakes on Isle of Wight Festival 2012 rumours

Festival chief John Giddings put the brakes on the Isle of Wight Festival 2012 rumours, taking to Twitter to rubbish the
gossip.
He tweeted: "@isleofwightfest
is not the chilis or coldplay."
As previously
reported, the Isle of Wight Festival 2012 dates have moved to 22-24 June to avoid travel
problems due to the Golden Jubilee and half term holidays.
Red Hot Chili Peppers will play just two UK dates in 2012 at Knebworth on Saturday 23 June and the Stadium
of Light on Sunday 24 June.

Knebworth tickets are priced at £50 (plus £7.50 fees), while Sunderland
Stadium of Light tickets will be available for £45 (plus £6.75 fees).
Coldplay have a string of European shows confirmed for December 2011, but are yet to announce
any dates in 2012 off the back of new album ‘Mylo Xyloto’.
Other Isle
of Wight Festival rumours include Noel Gallagher,
who has recently released a solo album, and Florence
and The Machine.
Isle
of Wight Festival 2012 will return to Seaclose Park, Newport on the Isle of Wight.
