The band will follow next month's UK tour by playing on the Ronnie James Dio Stage at the Derbyshire event next summer.
Speaking to the festival's website, the Norwegian Black
Metal superstars said: "We are extremely excited to be a part of next year´s Bloodstock festival. It will be great
to reconnect with our UK based friends and fans and party up a storm!"
They will be joined by Connecticut hardcore
metallers Hatebreed and, back with the line-up that made
the classic 1985 album 'Animosity', Corrosion of Conformity.
All three acts will be making their only UK appearances of 2012 at the festival, which takes place at Catton Hall,
Derbyshire on 9–12 August.
British metallers Anaal
Nathrakh are new for the Sophie Lancaster stage, joining the previously announced Orange Goblin,
while Doomed are the first act set for the New Blood stage.
Anvil, Watain
and Paradise Lost are also already on board for next year.
