Insider sources have told Virtual Festivals the Stone Roses are to play V Festival
in 2012, at both Chelmsford and Staffordshire sites over the weekend of 18-19 August.
The source also said the band have lined up two shows at Heaton Park in Manchester,
a concert venue that can hold up to 80,000 and previously played host to Oasis for two nights back in 2009.
Other festivals linked with the band include Isle
of Wight Festival, T In The Park and Dublin's Oxegen Festival.
A press
conference has been announced for 3pm today (Oct 18) and the band are expected to announce they are to reunite
