The trio, made up of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, will top the billing of a nine-hour-long event in front of 65,000 people on 14 July 2012.

Swedish House Mafia tickets are priced at £49.50 (including booking fees).

Radio 1 will be recording the show to broadcast at a later date.

The group have had three top ten hits in the UK including ‘Save The World’ and ‘One’, with their collaboration with Tinie Tempah called ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ peaking at number four.

They have also released their own DVD documentary called ‘Take One’ which follows them of the course of two years.

Last year the group played at Creamfields 2011 in the UK, Tomorrowland 2011 in the Nethelands, Oxegen 2011 in Ireland and T In The Park 2011 in Scotland.
