The Great Escape announce 2012 dates and tickets

Brighton metropolitan festival goes on sale today

The Great Escape 2012 will take place in various venues across Brighton from 10-12 May 2012.

Brighton Dome, Corn Exchange, Concorde 2, Komedia and other popular Brighton venues will be included in the Great Escape roster of stages, with over a hundred live acts and DJ's playing the three day event in May.

Currently no acts have been announced for the 2012 The Great Escape Festival line up. Friendly Fires, Example, Katy B, DJ Shadow, Ghostpoet and Sufjan Stevens were amongst the acts who played on the 2011 line up.

3 day Super Early Bird Festival tickets are now available to buy for just £35, which gives access to 30 venues and over 300 new artists across the course of the critically acclaimed event.

As in previous years, a small number of our shows will take place at The Dome in Brighton. The line-up for these shows will be announced early next year. To ensure guaranteed access to the Dome Shows, attendees will be able to top up their festival wristband for a small fee, or purchase separate gig tickets from early 2012.
