With the likes of The Cure, Bjork, Kelis, Pendulum, Nero and (get your cowboy hats ready…) the Village People, you’re bound to have a fist-pumping weekend.

Let’s take the chance to give a shout-out to mother nature, if you’re listening, in the words of Elton John: “don’t let the sun go down on me.” Keep it shining all weekend long. But on the off chance she’s got her headphones on, here’s what to pack, whatever the weather may be.

I’m so in love with Friday’s set for the girls – I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kate Moss rocking around in this. We’ve got a pair of compulsory festival shorts but not as you would expect them, these are high-waisted and denim but in a burst of colour, cerise is our favourite but check out the other options. Wear with a boob tube, this particular one will work well with the cerise of the shorts. Pull on some cosy Hunter fleece socks which, once folded over an “average” Wellington boot, will make it look as if it is, in fact, a ‘Hunter’ pair with its iconic print across the top of the lining! However, with an incredible pair of Wedge Wellies, you won’t want to hide where you got these from. To top that, they currently have 20% off of them for a limited time only, enter the code FAB20 – so get yours quick. Finish the look with a biker chic leather jacket – try this River Island one, though a little pricey, will last you through all the seasons.

For Saturday, we’ve got a fancy dress costume example to tie in with the ‘Rockstars, Popstars and Divas’ theme. You can have loads of fun with this, try out being a ‘material girl’ for the day with this fabulous Madonna-esque outfit. Work with some fishnets and wellies or ankle boots and it becomes a festival friendly outfit Try out some DIY and try and recreate the Marilyn look or get yourself some animal print materials and work your magic.

Sunday, again, has a different take on what to take to a festival – instead of packing a plain pair of leggings, why not exchange them for leather look trousers to up the flavour. Continue the look with this must have MTV tank top and white three-quarter length jersey top and some converse. In case the sky is looking cloudy, throw on this hooded gilet for extra warmth and as precaution from the rain. If the sun should be shining then don’t forget to sport your Festival Spectacles, with six different colours to choose from, you can’t go wrong.

To kick start the weekend, the lads should get those all important skinny jeans on and pair it with a statement t-shirt I particularly like the “peace” sign here with the British flag as its fill – very patriotic. Put with a denim jacket and chocolate coloured, lace up boots. If you want to work the double denim look then don’t wear colours that are too similar as you’ll blend into a block of denim – offset each piece by wearing coloured denim with classic stonewash denim. Before you set off, grab your Festival Spectacles with the red lenses in and you’re away!

Saturday’s outfit is again a Rockstar costume – definitely one of the best you can get, especially if you’re not the creative type. Don’t forget to play some tunes on that air guitar. If you feel like getting your needle and thread out get various metallic materials, a leotard, leg warmers and throw in some animal print and you’ve got yourself the perfect outfit. Rock on!

Sunday’s set is a bit of fun, get your legs out in these chino style shorts (www.topman.com ) and get people staring at your chest with this “FIT” t-shirt. Loving the attention so far? Well turn it up a notch with an eye catching Adidas hoodie in bright green and the ladies will spot you a mile off – in a good way. Slip your feet into some plimsolls to finish.
