End Of The Road launch new festival for 2012

No Direction Home will debut at Sherwood Forest

To be housed at Welbeck, on the edge of Sherwood Forest, No Direction Home 2012 will run from 8-12 June.

Writing about the new music festival on their official website, End Of The Road bosses put: “We are hand-crafting a new festival - No Direction Home, to be held on 8th - 10th June 2012 at Welbeck on the edge of Sherwood Forest. It's a unique setting that is second to none.

“There will be music, there will be merriment, there will be all sorts of things that you could expect from the team behind End of the Road: Attention to detail, award winning ales, Somerset Cider Bus, great food, cutting edge film, comedy, children's entertainments, a chance to make, do and discover.

Camping will be beside a lake with views of the historic Welbeck Abbey.”

Early bird No Direction Home 2012 tickets will go on sale alongside End Of The Road 2012 tickets from tomorrow (Tuesday, 6 September).

A link to buy End Of The Road 2012 tickets and No Direction Home 2012 tickets will appear on Virtual Festivals when available.

No names have been confirmed so far for either event, but the End Of The Road 2011 line up was headlined Beirut, Joanna Newsom and Mogwai.
