After a wet bank holiday for festival-goers last weekend, the weather looks like it will be picking up for those heading to End of the Road, Electric Picnic and Waveform from tomorrow (Friday 2 September).

Those setting off to Larmer Tree Gardens to see acts such as Beirut, Mogwai and Wild Beasts this weekend at End Of The Road Festival 2011 will be in for a rain-free weekend.

Sunny skies are to welcome punters to North Dorset with highs of 23°C on Friday. Saturday (3 September) and Sunday (4 September) will bring cloudy skies, yet the temperature will stand firm at around 20°C.

Waveform 2011 ticket holders look like they will be treated to a fairly sunny and dry weekend too, with temperatures reaching between 20°C and 23°C throughout Friday and Saturday.

The mercury will drop slightly on Sunday for headliners Apply The Breaks, Orchid-Star, Olmec and more as white cloud is set to creep over Taunton.

Ireland will have white cloud covering Electric Picnic 2011 at Stradbelly Hall on both Friday and Saturday for headliners Interpol and Arcade Fire.

Have your waterproof to hand on Sunday as light showers are expected throughout the day which will be followed by heavy showers for those heading home on Monday.
