'He actually really likes us', say band in Reading Festival 2011 interview
Fiona Gladstone - 31 August 2011
The band were speaking to Virtual Festivals at Reading Festival 2011, which you can watch above.
“The last festival we did was in Japan and Liam Gallagher came over and said hello to the boys,” started
frontman Lee Newell during the interview.
“He took back everything he’d said and
actually said he really likes us,” added guitarist Sam Jackson.
Previously, the self-coined
grit pop group had been called “little posh boys with tattoos,” by Gallagher in the NME.
Viva Brother also explain their excitement surrounding the latest
festival season, their new album and guitarist Sam’s famous chat up line.
