Almost 150,000 revellers have been soaking up the sun (and the rain) at Worthy Farm, while being treated to a feast of great music and entertainment.

While many were disappointed by a rather lacklustre performance from Pyramid Stage headliners Oasis on Friday evening, Sir Paul McCartney put in a triumphant show last night.

By yesterday, more than 142,000 people were on site. 158 had been evicted from the festival, mainly for being caught without a ticket, carrying weapons, and rogue trading. 35,000 vehicles were parked up.

On Friday night, a 24-year-old man from the North-East died of a suspected drug overdose. Two men have been arrested in connection.

Crime overall is down on last year, with 121 reported offenses compared to 196 this time last year. There have been 83 arrests in total.

More than 1,000 people have been treated at the medical centre for illness or injury.

According to the Environment Agency the surrounding streams remained free of pollution.

Full reviews of the festival will be online next week.
