The group, who were playing the Arena Stage last night (20 August) in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, had to stop their set
early after the incident, writes NME.
Reports suggest Glasvegas argued with someone in the crowd, who persisted to launch
bottles towards the stage.
The group tried to continue with their set before deciding to leave the stage for good.
NME.com user DJ Cull, who was in the crowd, said: "4 songs, an argument, an aborted restart and a walk-off."
The news started circulating after Loaded Magazine, who are tweeting at the festival, mentioned the incident.
They tweeted: "Audience bottled band [Glasvegas]." Asked for
further details, they replied: "Too many bottles. Had a ruck. Walked off."
