Destroyer play rare show at Green Man Festival 2011
Canadian indie heroes wow with 'Kaputt' songs

Those who did witness Destroyer's show were treated to richly rendered renditions of the Vancouver outfit's eighties-influenced
new album 'Kaputt'.
Frontman and part time New Pornographer Dan Bajar cut a rumpled, enigmatic figure and offered
little in the way of onstage banter, other than uttering: "Hi, we're Destroyer. Has anyone been on the ferris wheel yet?"
Highlights included 'Chinatown', 'Savage Night at the Opera' and sprawling closer 'Bay of Pigs'.

Canadians Holy Fuck closed the Far Out Stage' last night, with Gruff Rhys topping the Green
Man second stage tomorrow.
Squarepusher leads
a Warp Records-curated After Dark bill on the same stage tonight with Chris
Clark among those mucking in.
Fleet Foxes
will headline the main stage at the Welsh event tonight.
