Last names for Reading and Leeds 2011 line up
Comedy, comperes, more bands and DJs

Huw Stephens will return to compere Reading’s
Main Stage, as does fellow Radio 1 DJ Mike
Davies on The Lock-Up stage.
Gill Mills and Colin Murray
will share the Main Stage honours at Leeds, with Gazz Snowdon on Lock-Up
duties.
Comedians Paul Chowdry, Tom Stade, Jarred Christmas, Michael Fabbri and Mike
Bubbins are all set to perform on The Alternative Stage at Reading, along with
Wayne Deakin, who will MC on Friday.

Southern are new for Leeds, while there’ll also be screenings of “apocalyptic
comedy” film ‘Kaboom’ and ‘Super Size Me’ director
Morgan Spurlock’s new documentary ‘The Greatest Movie Ever Sold’.
Short films ‘Mixtape’ and ‘Disco’ will be shown at both
sites.
At Leeds, Transgressive Recordings’ two-night takeover of the Alternative Stage now comes with a Pulled Apart By Horses DJ set on Saturday, and one by Two Door Cinema Club on Sunday.
As
previously announced, SBTRKT, Dry The River and Pete And The Pirates are among
the acts playing live there, with organisers promising ”more surprises on the nights themselves.”
Also new for Leeds is the Relentless Energy Sessions Arena in the village, with
DJs from 10pm until 3am. Goldierocks and Grooverider are
set for Thursday, while Duke and DJ Fresh are confirmed for Friday.
Ben Casey and Baskeville will perform on Saturday, with Casey
returning along with Bugz In The Attic on Sunday. Plastic Thumbs will play
on all four nights.
The Silent Arena DJ line-up includes Steve Lamacq, Bethan Elfyn
& The Vinyl Vendettas, Huw Stephens, My Ex Boyfriends Records, Jen Long and Fingers and Thumbs at
Reading, with the Silent Arena DJs at both sites.
Reading Festival 2011 will take place at Little Johns Farm in
Reading, Berkshire and Leeds Festival at Bramham Park in Leeds,
Yorkshire from 26-28 August.

And Leeds are on sale now, priced at £192.50, with day tickets costing £82.50
per day.
