The Devin Townsend Project top Damnation Festival
Band will headline Leeds event, more acts announced

The group will close the Jagermeister Stage at the one-day indoor metal festival.
Fans will be able to enjoy
performances from some of the top metal and rock acts across three stages at Leeds University Union
on 5 November.
Ulver, Godflesh and
Decapitated have already confirmed appearances, as have
Taiwanese black metal group Chthonic.
God
Is An Astronaut, Altar of Plagues and Dragged into
Sunlight are also on the bill.
Canada's Devin Townsend Project will treat festival-goers to songs from all four albums including ‘Ghost’,
which was released in June this year.
The ex-Strapping Young Lad vocalist will also be performing
at Bloodstock 2011, which takes place this weekend, as well as embarking on a tour of North America later
this year.
Damnation Festival 2011
is billed as having the strongest line-up in its seven year history.
Festival director, Gavin McNally,
said that the event boasted “some of the finest live metal acts around.”
