DJ names rework famous film scores

The festival will happen on September 22-25 and see a variety of music performances to accompany the films.

Electronic quartet Teeth Of The Sea will perform a remix to 'Doomsday', while Radio 1's Rob da Bank will create a soundtrack to the 1933 version of 'King Kong'.

The DJ is no stranger to festivals, being the organiser of Bestival, on the Isle of Wight, and Camp Bestival in Dorset.

One performance will be a family affair, with songwriter and harpist Serafina Steer creating a score to her brother Sam's fairytale animations.

Music related film screenings will also take place, including 'Sound It Out,' about Teesside's last surviving vinyl record shop.

Shorts created by amateur film-makers will also be screened all over Jersey as part of the festival.

Tickets have to be bought for each individual performance or screening, but the 2011 prices and schedule have not yet been released.

Jersey residents can still get tickets to the Jersey Live Music Festival 2011, which features Madness and Plan B as headliners.
