The event has become a firm favourite in the capital, with its own unique Irish flavour steeped in musical
tradition.
VF will be there, and we look forward to welcoming Fleadh's return alongside
thousands of revellers, following its absence from the festival calender last year.
Definitely back
with a bang, this year the history-rich event boasts more than 20 acts over two stages, in what is already
being touted one of the festival's finest ever line-ups.
Bob Dylan headlines the event, heralding a welcome return since he last topped the bill in 1993. More
contemporary attractions include Dublin funksters Republic of Loose, The Charlatans and
Delays.
Billy Bragg joins the main stage to celebrate his 25 years in music, folk
fans favourite Christie Moore makes another eagerly anticipated appearance, and California's Counting
Crows play their first ever Fleadh.
The smaller Borderline Stage will feature some of the
today's finest up-and-coming songwriters, with cult US folk singer John Prine making a rare UK appearance
alongside alt-country act The Laura Cantrell Band - firm favourites of John Peel no less.
