Thursday and Saturday tickets sell out

Relentless Energy Drink Boardmasters 2011, based at Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay in Newquay, Cornwall, which will run from 10-14 August has sold out of Thursday and Saturday tickets.

The rush for the Beach Sessions passes probably had something to do with a line up that consists of the mighty Fatboy Slim, Klaxons and Newton Faulkner.

As well as having some of the biggest names in music, Boardmasters plays host to some of the biggest names in extreme and street sports.

The crown in the jewel at Boardmasters will be the surfing events which will be celebrating its 30th birthday this year.

Top international surfers such as America's Cory Lopez and Australia's Tom Whitaker battle it out the Irish Sea for a $145,000 prize.

Pro skaters will also be competing at the Vans Summer Session Vert Prize.

Those still hoping to see Fatboy Slim perform on Saturday 13 can do so by buying a weekend ticket.
