The singer-songwriter has dominated the charts and press pages since the success of her debut album 'Frank' in 2003.

A year on from the release of that album she would play a career-defining performance at Glastonbury Festival under the now defunct Jazzworld Stage

Winehouse would return to the Somerset festival for the final time in 2008 to play the Pyramid Stage, here she is paying reference to her heroes, The Specials with a cover of 'Message To You Rudi'.

Tragically again her storming Saturday night performance became a press talking point for all the wrong reasons as films of her punching a fan in the crowd emerged.

V Festival would become another festival favourite for the young London singer as she worked through her sound and style. Here's her crowd pleasing performance in 2004, in the year she was first nominated for a Mercury Prize for debut album 'Frank'.

The singer won five Grammy Awards in 2008, including an album of the year but her headline performance at Bestival ended in confusion as she stormed off stage, having turned up an hour late to play and overrunning the curfew.

Last month, after a period in rehab, she was scheduled for a string of festival dates in Europe. At her first show in Belgrade, Serbia on June 18 she appeared too drunk to perform and was then pulled out of her remaining live shows.

Police are treating her death as unexplained but not suspicious. R.I.P. Amy Winehouse. 1983-2011.
