Organisers unveil the Big Chill Radio Stage

Friday (5 August) will see five artists selected by local BBC Introducing presenter
Andrew Marston perform, followed by DJ Shepdog, Nadav Ravid and Futureboogie. Gatto
Fritto, Mock & Toof, Leo Zero and Bill Brewster complete the bill for the first day.
Sketchy, Kutmah and comedian Lee Nelson start things off on Saturday (6 August),
before Craig Charles' Funk and Soul Show starts the 6 Music broadcasts, followed by DJ sets
from Union, Hit'n'Run, Rich Reason, Chunky and Cutline.
Matty J opens
the stage on Sunday (7 August), with a return for Lee Nelson and a set from Chris
Coco, after which Cerys Matthews and The 6 Mix, featuring DJs on the festival bill,
will both broadcast live on 6 Music from the stage. Alexis Taylor will then DJ before
Bubbleteaser's Maurice Fulton closes proceedings.
Big Chill Radio will
be broadcasting 24 hours-a-day on 87.7FM for the duration of the event.
It's also been announced
that Seamus Murphy's series of short films to accompany PJ Harvey's latest album 'Let
England Shake', and the Beastie Boys film 'Fight For Your Right Revisited' will
both be screened at the festival.
Kanye West, The Chemical Brothers and Rodrigo y Gabriela
are this year's headliners.
Big Chill 2011 will take place on 4 - 7 August at
Eastnor Castle Deer Park in Ledbury, Herefordshire.
