Man bailed after rape reported at Latitude 2011

A man has been bailed after a 20-year-old woman reported being raped at this year's Latitude Festival, the BBC reports.

Police were called to the festival site on Sunday morning.

The incident allegedly took place in a tent on the staff campsite, and the area was cordoned off while investigations took place.

It's believed both people knew each other prior to the festival.

The man was arrested and taken to Lowestoft Police Station for questioning before being bailed until 14 September.
