The singer-songwriter returned to the festival for the first time since 2004, performing a selection of hits from the
biggest selling album of the noughties, ‘Back To Bedlam’, as well as newer releases.
Across the weekend,
Razorlight and Roger Daltrey had also headlined the main stage, and despite their impressive back catalogues, comparatively
Blunt’s ‘You’re Beautiful’ sent the crowd decibels through the roof.
Although not a massive
fan before, Anji Ennis, 41, from Guildford was won over by his performance: “I’m very impressed, the stage
looked great and he has definitely changed some opinions tonight”.
Noisettes, N-Dubz and Funeral for a Friend also performed across the weekend.
