Belgian choral act ease Sunday in at festival

Preceding a Sunday that will see sets from Suede, Glasvegas and Eels, the Belgian choir played covers of Radiohead, Coldplay, Peter Gabriel and Manu Chao to a full Obelisk arena, finishing with a beat heavy ‘I Fail’ by Regi and Scala, a moving ‘Without You’ and ‘Have a Nice Day’ by Stereophonics.

There's something eternally lovely about hearing a 20-piece female choir crooning out "You're so fucking special" from Radiohead' s 'Creep' at 12.17 in the afternoon.

Alan Devo, from Mold, summed up the mood by saying: "they ain't Devo, but they certainly removed the hangover from my head."
